Hale Ono Loa means
"House of Good Living" in Hawaiian and this is certainly true if you are taking
advantage of the best dollar value on Maui. Unit 403 is on the 4th floor of a 4
story building. It is away from the road and is exceptionally quiet except for
the continuous sound of the ocean -- even from the bedroom. Unit 403 is ideally
oriented for shade and sun. The left side of the large, private lanai (balcony) is in the
shade except for late in the day until sunset. The right side of the lanai receives
sun from morning until late evening, making it ideal for sunbathing. The view from
the lanai is spectacular, looking directly across the 10 mile Auau Channel -- part of the famed "whale alley" --
to the island of Lanai.
A special feature of the Hale Ono Loa is the sundeck that hangs right on the
edge of the tropical blue Pacific. On the sundeck you can lounge, BBQ, enjoy
a cool drink and watch the whales and dolphins in the channels between Maui
and the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Or you can focus on the sea turtles that
ply the coral reef just offshore. You can snorkel right in front of the Hale Ono Loa to
get closer to the turtles and many species of tropical fish or at any of a
number of public beaches within minutes of your vacation home. For swimming, the Hale Ono Loa
has one of the largest pools in the area. And, you are just one block away,
a short walk, from the sandy swimming beach at Honokowai Beach
Park.
You are within 1 mile of a supermarket. The center of Kaanapali is less than 2 miles to the south.
nd Lahaina, the famed whaling port and former
capital of Hawaii, is just 6 miles to the south.
Hale Ono Loa Unit 403
Unit 403 has one bedroom, one complete bath, a living room, a complete kitchen, and
two queen-size beds. The bedroom has sliding louvered doors and ideal ocean-mountain
orientation to allow for continuous breezes to flow completely through unit 403 even
when the bedroom doors are closed. No client has ever complained for lack of air
conditioning. There is a trash chute and elevator just steps from the entry to unit 403.
